DESCRIPTION:Howdy all you fellow buffalo hunters\,\nYEP!!\, it is buffalo season again\, the hunt will take place at NRSGC on the 12th of October 2025.\, 1pm ( Saturday )\n\n\nRULES OF ENGAGEMENT\n– only buffalo rifle will be permitted to shot\n– this is a rifle that was used in the buffalo hunts of the 1860’s\, 70’s\, 80’s\n– the rifle must predate 1890\, or a reproduction there of\ne\,g I’m is a 1873 Remington Rolling Block\, 45-70\, by Pedersoli\n– must be minimum 38cal\n– this includes Flintlocks\, Percussion Cap\, Big Bore lever action\, e.g. 1886 Winchester 45-62\n– no 94 Winchester 30-30’s\, no pistol cal\, e.g. 44-40\, or 45 Long Colt\n– iron sights or aperture sights only\n– NO OPTIC SIGHTS OF ANY KIND\, NONE OF ANY KIND\, PERIOD\, NONE\n– you may shoot in any ” stance ” you wish\n– shooting sticks are permitted\n\nThe competition will consist of firing 10 round at a 100 yards\,\ndo to time\, there will be no practice rounds\nso sight in your rifle prior to attending the event.\nFee TBD\, which includes one of Roy’s ( now famous ) buffalo burgers\,\nwith a side order of my baked beans\,\nRSVP\, back to me by TBD to register\, the TBD is the cut off date to order the burgers\,\nso get back to me by the TBD\, and hope to see you there\,\nGood shooting\, and happy trails\,\nVictor\nvictorpackard@hotmail.com
